University of Montana seeks to dramatically expand study abroad

Raising your grade from a 16 percent to a 75 percent can sound like an insurmountable feat, but the University of Montana is trying to do it anyway.
Three out of every four UM students will study abroad at some point in their college careers if UM manages to reach a goal laid out in the administration’s Strategic Plan. But right now, not even one out of five Missoula students go abroad.
Joseph Brockington said raising that number isn’t as impossible as it sounds – his college did it almost 50 years ago.
