Great Falls Airport Authority boosts incentives for new flights
August 31, 2011 /
The Great Falls Airport Authority http://www.gtfairport.com/ voted Tuesday to expand and sweeten its incentive plan to attract new commercial flights in the face of an increasingly competitive market.
The plan would expand the incentive that was created last December but has not yet been successful in attracting new customers, and add marketing and construction help.
Airport Director John Faulkner, who recommended the changes, said that airline consolidations led to cutbacks in both the hub airports and smaller airports served from them.
