The Cycling House – Missoula-based cycling training business goes international, adds triathlons

Owen Gue didn’t know what the future held for him and his dream when he launched The Cycling House seven years ago.

Born in Missoula and raised to love and appreciate outdoor recreation and adventure, Gue turned away from a work-a-day full-time job that might tie him to things he loved far less than biking and exploring stunning landscapes with like-minded people.

And so, at age 20, the enterprising competitive cyclist sold his car and borrowed $25,000 from his personal credit card to create his dream business providing winter fitness vacations and training camps in the sun for serious amateur and professional cyclists and triathletes.

What began as Gue’s bold vision has steadily grown into a full-fledged reality with the help of some of Montana’s top athletes, who happen to be Gue’s good friends.

Now, after seven years, The Cycling House http://www.thecyclinghouse.com/ – which is headquartered in Missoula and has a winter training facility in Tucson, Ariz. – is going international and expanding its services.
