Niel Leist – "Superintendent Savings Strategies – Stretching the Taxpayer’s Dollar in Your School" How I saved $2MM over the past 3 years.

Neil Leist is often referred to as the "Super Saver Superintendent" for Clermont Northeastern Local Schools (CNE). Through innovative approaches for supplying the districts needs he has saved the district an estimated $2 million dollars over the past 3 years.

Donated furniture, office supplies, computers, and even kitchen equipment has allowed the school district to update and replace items while saving money. This type of out-of-the-box thinking and hard work has helped earn Neil and CNE two awards in 2010. The 2010 Innovative Business Award, which has never been given to a school district, and the 2010 20/20 Business Leadership Award.
