AACTE-Microsoft Innovative Teachers Program

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

The Innovative Teachers program addresses teacher training and retention of K–12 teachers. Through this program, Microsoft and the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) will give equipment and software reportedly worth $50 million to teacher colleges, education departments, and regional training centers over the next three years.

Schools, school districts, and not-for-profit organizations need to form a CPE partnership to be successful with their grant applications. For more information, read the application and information available at the web site listed below.
