Gulfstream Airlines VP makes stop in Sidney, Montana

Mickey Bowman, vice president of Gulfstream International Airlines http://www.gulfstreamair.com , Montana’s essential air service provider, said during a stop in Sidney Thursday he’s pleased with the company’s customer base after two months in operation.

"Things are going very well. I would say our loads are exceeding our expectations," Bowman said. The vice president hopes the company can bring reliable, affordable air service to its region that includes airports in Lewistown, Havre, Glasgow, Wolf Point, Sidney, Glendive and Miles City. "That’s the one thing I believe the essential air service committee supported Gulfstream, is our history of reliable operation," he said.

One aspect the company says it heard "loud and clear" from customers was a need for lower airfare. As a result, the company is offering one-way tickets to Billings at a flat rate of $75 and $150 round-trip. Travelers are pleased. At least that’s according to the workers at the counters who say they’re surprised at such a low airfare.
