GRIZ GRIT: Ja’Ton Simpson Founds Prep Mentors to Help Montana’s Students Prepare for Their Future

When you first see for Griz football player Ja’Ton Simpson, just his stature gets your attention.

"I’ve been on a mission to be a great role model for these Montana kids, which actually gives me a chance to return some of what Montana has given to me over the last decade," said Simpson. "Grades really do matter. You can’t get anywhere in life without academics."

Wanting to paint with a broader brush, Simpson recently founded "Prep Mentors," http://www.facebook.com/pages/Prep-Mentors/149885621737504 which he believes will give him an opportunity to touch even more young people at a critical time as they prepare to leave high school.
