The Healthy Pantry of Red Lodge, Montana provides healthy, quick-to-fix meals

Two years ago, Keith Lauver’s business, The Healthy Pantry http://www.thehealthypantry.com/ , was broke.

So, he booked a flight to Orlando, Fla., choosing the destination more or less randomly, to test his products with a group of strangers. He wanted to discover why his company was struggling when all of his friends and family were raving about his products.

"We wanted to have a good business model and see if we could inspire people to make healthier choices in their lives," he explained. But, growing the business as planned wasn’t working.

As founder and CEO of the Red Lodge-based company, Lauver had been putting on dinner parties and selling individual pouches of exotic spices, herbs and vegetables along with providing healthy recipes.
