The Buffett Early Childhood Fund

The Buffett Early Childhood Fund and the Ounce of Prevention Fund in Illinois are working with partners in communities across America to create state-of-the-art Educare Centers to better prepare young children for success in school.

Each Educare Center provides high-quality early care and education to 140-200 infants, toddlers and preschoolers growing up in low-income families. This network of Educare Centers — called the Bounce Learning Network — shapes a new way of doing business when it comes to delivering early care and education to our nation’s most at-risk children and families.

Plus, each Educare Center serves as a catalyst for programmatic and policy change throughout its community and state.
