2011 Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest

The 2011 Governor’s Business Plan Contest is open for entries now through 5 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2011. The grand prize is worth $50,000 in cash and in-kind services, and finalists once again have the chance to win $200,000 in cash and in-kind services. Wisconsin residents 18 years old and older are eligible, as are teams from Wisconsin-based businesses and organizations. Entries from outside Wisconsin from people or companies planning to relocate in the state may be accepted. Initial entry is a 250-word idea abstract. Since 2004, the contest has awarded $1 million in cash and in-kind services. Contestants will submit their abstracts online at http://www.govsbizplancontest.com.
