Wyoming Career Opportunity – Executive Director – Sublette Economic Resource Council

Executive Director: Sublette Economic Resource Council, Sublette County, Wyoming.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Sublette Economic Resource Council (SERC), its programs, expansion, and execution of its mission.

Summary: The Sublette Economic Resource Council (SERC) is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization with a mission to provide leadership and resources to promote sustainable economic development to Sublette County. SERC identifies, supports and facilitates county-wide development opportunities, works with existing businesses to improve and/or expand their business. SERC also works with various organizations around the state of Wyoming to promote economic development within the county. Duties: oversee the budget of SERC, interact regularly with the community and business owners to advertise SERCs services, be aware of business services offered through other Wyoming and national organizations, attend relevant state and national conferences, outline and track goals for the organization. Develop, maintain, and support a strong board of directors; serve on each committee, seek and build board involvement.

Qualifications: Experience working for a non-profit organization and grant-writing experience. Required: strong administrative and planning skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent listening skills; patient and persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal and multi-disciplinary skills, detail-oriented, experience working within communities, ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people. Demonstrated knowledge and experience performing word processing, budget analysis, and QuickBooks. Passion, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self directed.
