Changes in tenure proposed, amidst education topics

From changes that would eliminate teacher tenure to measures that would raise the age at which a student can drop out of school, there are plenty of education bills being considered this session that have less to do with budgeting, and more to do with education philosophy.

State Rep. Derek Skees, R-Whitefish, is introducing a bill that calls for the removal of teacher tenure at both the K-12 and higher education systems in Montana.
