Montana Education budget gets passing grade

Montana’s legislators will have their work cut out for them when the 2011 legislative session begins on Jan. 3. Indeed, the sheer amount of information, issues and opinions they must process before casting a vote is staggering.

Some of these items will be more important than others. Some of them will be relatively easy – straightforward and sure to please the voters back home. And some of them will be a lot more complicated, requiring a great deal of research and thought.

That is why it is just as important for Montanans to share their legislative priorities with their elected representatives as it is to weigh in on proposed legislation itself.
