Nine-year old McKenna Killian of Cut Bank, Montana knows eggs-actly how to hatch a business – Young entrepreneur manages 125 "employees"

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? If you ask, 9-year-old McKenna Killian she’ll tell you chickens.

No one ever told nine-year old McKenna Killian she couldn’t run a lucrative business at her young age. It’s a good thing, because this little entrepreneur not only has a business where she is making money, but she is good at it and absolutely loves it as well.

McKenna, the daughter of Alana Killian, has chickens, of the egg-laying kind and she doesn’t have just a few "layers," she has over 125 chickens! And it is those chickens that provide the eggs that McKenna collects every day and then sells and delivers to her customers every week.

McKenna, who is a fourth grader, has been in the chicken-egg business for the last two years. She got started in her business when she "saw them at Big R and I thought I wanted them," she said. "I had about 20 chickens when I started."
