Plug into a career in health IT at Montana State University – Great Falls

The healthcare industry stands on the brink of change as the transition from paper-based records systems to electronic record applications and other higher-level systems of health information exchange. Estimates based on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Education, and independent studies indicate a shortfall over the next five years of approximately 50,000 qualified Health IT workers required to meet the needs of hospitals and physicians as they move to adopt electronic health care systems.
