Greetings!

I had the honor of meeting LeRoy Luft, our organization’s first Board President, several weeks ago. From him, I was able to learn a lot about the economic climate in the Gallatin Valley 25 years ago, and the need for an organization to be strictly focused on economic development activities.

Mr. Luft also delivered a document that he has held onto since our organization’s inception. This 25-year-old certificate was a founding document showing ownership of the Gallatin Development Corporation name. To me, it represents the unwavering commitment that so many of you have made to this organization and the legacy you have left in this community.

I look forward to raising my glass in honor of Prospera’s first Board President and the 25 members who were there in the beginning and remain with us today. I hope you will join the celebration on Thursday, November 4.
