SBA Awards Contracts to Help Foster Business Clusters

The U.S. Small Business Administration awarded $6 million in contracts to 10 regional economic development groups under a pilot initiative designed to foster business clusters nationwide.
The groups are to receive $600,000 each, which would be used help facilitate growth among companies within a common sector. Most of the funds have been issued to the entities.
