Montana Career Opportunity – Data Network Engineer – Blackfoot Telecommunications Group

Blackfoot Telecommunications Group, a diversified telecommunications family of companies that offers a wide array of voice and data services in western Montana, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Network Engineer.

Responsibilities include design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Blackfoot’s ISP, campus and customers’ data networks. Additional daily tasks include network monitoring, Internet backbone, IP management as well as network support for QoS, DSL, special circuits and Level 3 support for Tier 2 Technicians.

Ideal candidate has very strong technical skills, great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, good communications and documentation skills, superior work ethic and the desire to constantly learn and apply new technologies, a BS/BA in related field and/or 3-5 years of related experience.
