Highlights from the Montana Economic Jobs Summit In Butte, Montana

Montana’s Senior U.S. Senator Max Baucus kicked off the fifth Montana Economic Development Summit http://www.montanaeconomicsummit.org/ today on the Montana Tech Campus in Butte. More than 150 businesses and approximately 2,000 participants joined the Summit to listen to keynote speakers and engage nearly 40 panels and breakout sessions with entrepreneurs from around the state, business leaders from around the country and ambassadors from around the world.

Baucus was instrumental in lining up today’s speakers including: Chairman and CEO of Microsoft Steve Ballmer; legendary investor and philanthropist Warren Buffett; ambassadors from China, Japan, Ireland, New Zealand and Chile; Chairman and CEO of General Electric Jeff Immelt; and media pioneer and Internet executive Barry Diller.
