McLaughlin Research Institute http://mri.montana.edu/ , a small, independent non-profit research organization, is seeking a talented individual for an executive leadership position.

The Development and Operations Officer (DOO) reports directly to the Director (CEO) of the organization. Strong organizational and social skills are essential, along with the enthusiasm and confidence required for such a challenging, multifaceted position.

The DOO is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of all fundraising and public relations programs. Extensive interaction with members of the Institute’s Board of Directors and National Development Council is involved. The DOO also organizes Board and Council meetings, educates state and federal representatives on funding issues, and supervises administrative staff and contract personnel.
