Call for Entrepreneurs to Apply to Present at the Bend Venture Conference

Is your start-up ready to be revved up? The Bend Venture Conference may be just the fuel you need.

If you have a start-up company seeking between $100,000 and $1 million, you are encouraged to enter the business plan competition. Fifteen entrepreneurs will be chosen to pitch their business ideas to a full audience of venture funders and angel investors at the Bend Venture Conference. The audience helps narrow down the finalists, and one winner is awarded the competition’s prize, up to $175,000.

Thinking of entering? Remember: revenue generating businesses nearing cash-flow positive status will have the best chance of presenting. Qualifying companies will represent these industry sectors:

* Clean Tech & Renewable Energy

* Bio Tech

* High Tech

* Consumer products & services
