Missoula Area Economic Development Corp. begins its reinvention

In the four months since the Missoula Area Economic Development Corp. http://www.maedc.org was critiqued as "woefully deficient" by an outside review team, the organization’s leaders have gathered for frank talks filled with introspection.

The result will likely be a complete reorganization of the private nonprofit agency, said Dick King, MAEDC executive director.

"We see this as an opportunity to get economic development better understood on the community level and an opportunity to determine our priorities," King said.
