North Dakota economy is No. 1

Another week, another national list where North Dakota ranks at the top.

A recent study of state employment trends put the North Dakota’s economy in first place in the country.

North Dakota added 21,300 jobs between 2005 and 2010 while the country as a whole lost 4.51 million private sector jobs during the same period, according the analysis by Portfolio.com and American City Business Journals.
