The award was presented at the annual APSE Conference in Atlanta in June. APSE is a national non-profit membership organization, founded 22 years ago as the Association for Persons in Supported Employment. APSE is the only national organization with an exclusive focus on integrated employment and career advancement opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Griffin-Hammis Associates (GHA) works with adults with significant disabilities ranging from young adults with autism to Veterans with service-related conditions such as traumatic brain injury.

GHA operates over 20 development and systems change projects nationwide including demonstration of Customized Employment from New Hampshire to California, covering Veteran’s benefits for the national Entrepreneurial Bootcamp for Veterans organized by Syracuse University, directing the national technical assistance and training center on self employment and disability funded by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, and running the statewide disability employment center for the State of Minnesota.

GHA has offices in Florence, Montana, as well as Ohio, Florida, Washington, Oregon, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Virginia.
