Wayne Brown Institute offers start-ups a link to venture capital
July 8, 2010 /
The Wayne Brown Institute is looking for proposals from owners of young businesses who want help finding venture capital investors.
Owners of start-up and early-stage companies should submit proposals for venture capital funding to the institute at its website, http://www.venturecapital.org, by Monday.
Candidates should use application materials available there, institute president Brad Bertoch said Wednesday.
Proposals will be critiqued by venture capital experts, who will select a few business owners to pitch ideas to investors at the institute’s Aug. 10 Deal Forum at the University of Utah Officer’s Club.
