Bozeman Schools go after federal bucks, including Race to the Top money

With state dollars squeezed tight by the recession, the Bozeman School District is going after more federal dollars, including controversial Race to the Top money.

The School Board voted 7-0 Monday to support the state of Montana’s long-shot application for up to $75 million in school reform funds from the U.S. Department of Education’s $4.3 billion Race to the Top program.
