The University of Montana Bureau of Business and Economic Research Montana Kids Count Workplace Policy Survey

I am writing to ask your help in a study regarding work place policies in Montana’s small businesses.

The goal of the study is to learn more about the losses Montana employers experience as a result of absenteeism and loss of productivity due to employees having child-care related problems.

We are also investigating how small businesses deal with these problems through their workplace policies. The survey is being conducted by the Bureau of Business and Economic Research at The University of Montana, at the direction of Montana KIDS COUNT.

This survey is anonymous and your responses will be used only as summaries in which no individual’s answers can be identified. The survey is voluntary; however, you can help us very much by taking a few minutes to share your information and experiences with us. Please click on the link below (for some email applications you may have to copy and paste the link directly into your browser’s address line):

If you have any questions or comments about this study, we would be happy to hear from you. You can reach me at the Bureau of Business and Economic Research at The University of Montana-Missoula toll-free at 1-877-700-2237 (243-5113 in Missoula).

Thank you very much for your time.

Sincerely,

John Baldridge
Director of Survey Research

P.S. Your prompt response to this matter is greatly appreciated.
