Mentoring firm looking for high-tech entrepreneurs

Say you and a partner have a great idea for a new business, and you’d like some serious feedback on your business plan — and maybe a shot at some start-up cash.

If your proposal involves the Web, mobile products or software, BoomStartup wants to talk to you. In addition to offering mentoring advice through a 3½ month program this summer, the service will provide each selectee with seed capital up to $15,000, according to spokesman Clayton Blackham.

Orem-based BoomStartup runs the program from May 17 to Aug. 30. Application deadline is Sunday, and information is available at http://www.boomstartup.com/apply.
