American Prairie Foundation in Montana – April Newsletter – "American Serengeti" on the National Geographic Channel – 4/22

Dear Friends of American Prairie Reserve,

After a long winter, welcoming spring always means a welcomed increase in activity. Here are a few events happening with the long-awaited warmer temperatures: National Geographic Channel premieres American Serengeti, their film about the American Prairie project; we host the First Annual American Prairie Classic bicycle race; Montana Outdoor Science School and APF host students on the prairie for a day of learning; WWF continues their ferret research; Chicago Zoological Society opens an exhibit featuring our Tom Brokaw-narrated video; our own Dennis Lingohr’s photography is featured in Montana Magazine; and guest contributor Gordon Orians writes about the winter migration of prairie birds. A big thank you goes out to all of you for keeping this exciting project moving forward. Please come visit soon!

Sincerely,

Sean Gerrity

APF President
