Montana State Superintendent Juneau aims to reduce dropout rates by implementing Missoula’s "Graduation Matters" campaign state-wide

Montana’s State Superintendent wants to copy a Missoula program aimed at reducing high school dropouts.

Denise Juneau thinks the "Graduation Matters Missoula Initiative" http://graduationmattersmissoula.com/ can make a difference. The program’s goal is to get every student to graduate and get the community involved in education.

"I think it’s very, very important to set at a state level a policy that says we believe in every student and every student should succeed and we need to have the expectations that each student will graduate from high school," Juneau says.
