Celebrate the 40th Anniversary
Of Earth Day with CFLs

April 22, 2010, is Earth Day’s 40th anniversary. To celebrate this historic
event, we’re reminding all our customers to do at least one thing to help
save energy – and it’s as easy as replacing a light bulb with a compact
fluorescent light (CFL). If every home in the United States replaced just
one incandescent light bulb with a CFL, we would save enough energy to light
more than 2.5
million homes for
a year and prevent
greenhouse gases
equivalent to the
emissions of nearly
800,000 cars.
Switching to CFLs
is good not only
for the Earth
but also for
your pocketbook.
