Idaho visitors Bureau launches redesigned Web site

Boise Convention Visitors Bureau updated its Web site, http://www.Boise.org, to make it easier for event planners and visitors to find information and make plans.

The new site includes an up-to-date event calendar, listings of area hotels and attractions, and blogs. The site also features a myMap tool that allows users to create customized Google maps and itineraries.

Sports event planners and other industry specialists can use a registered-users section to download promotional photos and create customized maps and more.

"Attracting a major meeting, convention or sporting event has a tremendous impact on our local economy," said Executive Director Bobbie Patterson. "We want to give them the extra attention they need."
