Ranked as top employer, financial services firm Edward Jones plans to hire 20 workers across Montana

While it seems like most business news is bad these days, here’s some news that’s pretty good.

The financial services firm Edward Jones http://www.edwardjones.com/index.html ranked No. 2 on Fortune Magazine’s "100 Best Companies to Work for 2010," and is looking to hire 20 new financial advisers and office staff across Montana.

In fact, the national company has 600 positions available throughout the country.

This information comes from the Feb. 8 edition of Fortune, which is now available on newsstands.

Edward Jones also ranked No. 1 for large-sized companies, said Jeff Twohig, a Missoula-based financial adviser with the company.
