Scholarship Opportunities in Electric Field Offered by Hill County Electric

Hill County Electric (HCE) will again be offering a $1,000 scholarship for a student entering an accredited electric lineman school who plans to work in Montana after receiving their pre-apprentice certification. HCE also offers a $500 Workforce Development Scholarship to students currently enrolled or planning to enroll in the Electrical Technology Program at Montana State University-Northern in Havre, MT.

Applicants will be judged based on employment history, personal statement, letters of recommendation, high school and/or college transcripts and their likeliness to complete an apprenticeship and work in Montana. Applicants do not need to be members or members’ dependents of HCE to apply.
