Boise State University offers help to businesses in 2010 economic initiative

Boise State University is recruiting Idaho businesses to take part in the Spring 2010 Economic Turnaround Initiative, a program first launched in January that connects businesses and organizations with services offered by the university.

“This program can provide a foundation for business success, create a more robust climate for hiring and hone students’ skills under the mentorship of faculty and business partners,” stated Brian Greber, director of the Business Research and Economic Development Center http://cobe.boisestate.edu/BREDCenter/ , which oversees Boise State’s business outreach efforts.

The university doesn’t charge participants, though some costs may be incurred if projects require outside consultation. The College of Business and Economics http://cobe.boisestate.edu/ , which oversees the initiative, is taking calls from interested companies and nonprofits at 208-426-4950.
