Sen. Bennett of Utah sponsoring tech meet at Southern Utah University with President Meg Whitman of eBay

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

Sen. Bob Bennett is sponsoring a two-day Rural Utah Business Technology Conference at Southern Utah University in
Cedar City on May 28-29.

It will offer numerous workshops and speeches about high-tech tools, trends and financing for rural businesses. It will also offer keynote
speeches by Bennett, R-Utah, and eBay President Meg Whitman.

Tuesday reception and a breakfast and lunch on Wednesday.

"In the Information Age, businesses large and small, metropolitan and rural, must implement new technologies to their advantage or lose
out to competitors who do," Bennett said. "Even the smallest firm the most remote corner of Utah can benefit from increased productivity
through appropriate use of new business technologies."
