Boise State breaks records for first quarter research funding – proposes research park on campus

Boise State University http://www.boisestate.edu/ netted $16.1 million in external grant awards during the first quarter of fiscal year 2010, a 77 percent increase over the same period last year and the highest quarterly total in school history, officials reported on Nov. 10.

From July through September, Boise State received 94 grants from about 30 different entities, including the U.S. Geological Survey, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Energy and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
