Moving on up – The Bitterroot Job Service Workforce Center

Walking into the Bitterroot Job Service Workforce Center http://wsd.dli.mt.gov/local/hamilton/ in Hamilton Monday afternoon, it was clear that things were as busy as ever.

With nearly every computer station filled by proactive job seekers, searching for a dream job or just a paycheck to put dinner on the table, manager Patti Furniss pointed out that it’s not exactly the best timing for the service’s big move to the new Ravalli Entrepreneurship Center (REC) http://www.rceda.org/category/entrepreneurship-center/.

Though, she added, there’s really no good time to have to close the doors … especially with the path the economy has taken over the last year.

But, while the job service will be closed for a few days this week to move phone and computer equipment and supplies, when they reopen at the new REC facility next week, Furniss said, they’ll be offering their clients a more comprehensive service.
