Montana should embrace clean energy development

I had the pleasure recently of speaking to students and faculty at the University of Montana about one of America’s greatest challenges – which also happens to be Montana’s great opportunity.

This challenge presents a golden opportunity for Montana’s economy. Your state is well-positioned by natural resources and high-level education – plus scientific and agricultural know-how – to develop the technologies and renewable energy sources that can lead us toward a low-pollution future, a vibrant economy and energy independence.
