Regents look at reform of Montana campuses

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

The Montana Board of Regents http://www.mus.edu/board/BORinfo.asp has started investigating how it might "reform and reinvent" the giant University System.

A new task force created to look into reform, called the Regents’ Workgroup, will hold its first face-to-face meeting in Helena on Thursday.

Its stated mission is to figure out how to get more Montanans to graduate from college, how to make the University System more efficient, and how to make changes without hurting the quality of education.
