Dave Sheehan, who started Mr. Video 11 years ago, will move to Las Vegas this summer and serve as a consultant in the company’s
Nevada operations.

Mr. Video’s current staff will continue to operate the Great Falls office, located in the Columbus Center, 1601 2nd Ave. N., Suite 126.

Mr. Video Productions provides a variety of digital video services, including producing video projects of all lengths, from 30-second
commercials and public service announcements to long-form videos and television programs. The company also transfers movie films,
photographs and slides to videotape and DVD.

In a news release, Brower said he is excited about expanding Mr. Video and expanding a strong presence in northcentral Montana.

Sheehan, 43, was a TV newsman at KTGF-TV and KFBB-TV in Great Falls before starting Mr. Video Productions.

He said his family’s upcoming move will allow him to care for his father, Gerald Sheehan, 81.

"This will allow my father to get to know his granddaughter," he said.

Sheehan and his wife, Kristie, have a 4-year-old daughter, Brianna.

Mr. Video was put up for sale about six months ago so the Sheehans could move to Nevada, he said.

Kristie Sheehan’s family is from Valier, so Dave Sheehan said they’ll be back for visits.

"We have lots of roots here," he said.

Sheehan also has plenty of affection for the Electric City.

"I’ve never felt more at home than in Great Falls," Sheehan said. "I thought I’d be here six months when I moved here as a news anchor in
1986, and now it’s 16 years later."

Sheehan said Las Vegas is the fastest growing community in the United States and he expects there will be plenty of work.

"Martin has big plans to expand the business in Vegas and since I’m the one who built it, I’m the one to do it," he said.

Sheehan said he does not expect to pursue his political aspirations in Las Vegas.

He ran unsuccessfully against Cascade County Commissioner Peggy Beltrone on the Republican ticket in November 2000.

"I think I’m done," he said. "I gave it a shot and I don’t regret it. It’s something I’d always wanted to do and I think more people should get
involved and run for office."
