MSU to spend $1.7 million on handicapped access as part of a settlement with the U.S. Office of Civil Rights.

Montana State University plans to spend nearly $1.7 million to make dormitories, student dining halls and sidewalks more accessible for students who use wheelchairs or have trouble getting around.
The state Board of Regents voted last week to approve MSU’s handicapped-access projects, as part of a settlement with the U.S. Office of Civil Rights.
