Wyoming’s largest utility, Rocky Mountain Power proposes 13.7 percent rate hike

Wyoming’s largest utility, Rocky Mountain Power Rocky Mountain Power , has asked state regulators to approve a 13.7 percent rate hike in Wyoming to help pay for growing electrical demand in the state.
"Even in the current economy, electricity use by our Wyoming customers continues to increase, and at a faster pace than in the other five states in which the company operates," Rocky Mountain Power president Richard Walje said in a prepared statement.
