Idaho Small Business Solutions, a Web site for small business owners, is the winner of an
“Innovations Award” for 2001 from the Council of State Governments.

The Idaho Statesman

The Web site http://www.idahobizhelp.org is one of eight national winners, and one of only two in
the 13-state Western region. More than 350 entries were submitted in the annual competition.

A representative of the CSG, headquartered in Lexington, Ky., will present the award to Idaho
at 10 a.m. today in the East Conference room of the Joe R. Williams Building, 700 W. State
St., Boise.

The Small Business Solutions Web site was developed by the Reducing Idaho´s Bureaucracy
Committee, an interagency group dedicated to improving information and simplifying
requirements for business owners, in collaboration with the Idaho Small Business
Development Center.

The site is hosted on the Idaho Department of Administration server. Development was
funded by a grant from USDA Rural Development.
