Montana Governor Schweitzer traveling to Germany, Spain

Gov. Brian Schweitzer http://governor.mt.gov/ is traveling in Germany and Spain this week to meet with energy businesses and promote business development opportunities here.

Schweitzer and Evan Barrett, the state’s chief business development officer http://business.mt.gov/ , left Saturday and will return Sept. 12.

"This is an opportunity to build and grow energy businesses in Montana and create more high-paying jobs for workers in our state," Schweitzer said in a press release before he left. "I have been actively recruiting business to Montana from North American companies to European companies. Both play a vital role in our economic development.
