West Yellowstone, Montana surviving economic hard times

Since April of this year, visitation numbers for Yellowstone National Park have been consistently higher than the previous year. Visitation for the month of June was up 8.5 percent over last years figure.
"Lodging & restaurants don’t seem to be getting hit as hard," said Town Financial Administrator Lanie Gospodarek. "It seems that people are spending their money on their lodging and dining, and skipping retail purchases on their way out of town."
