I.T. Grants Available
Right now you have probably heard of the First Time Home Owners’ stimulus package or the Cash for Clunkers deal that has been promoted throughout the nation. You may not yet have heard about another approved stimulus package: the $76 billion dollars appointed for IT funding.
Our partners at Ingram Micro have put together an application giving local businesses the opportunity to show why their company could benefit from these grants. Grant award amounts vary widely, from $10,000 for a private foundation grant for example to $15 million for a regional economic development project. The average technology-friendly federal grant is in the range of $250,000-$500,000 and funds a project for 18 months.
