Montana State University -Northern Offers New Leadership Degree that Focuses on NonProfit Sector

If you are seeking a career in non-profit or governmental service and are looking to complete a bachelor’s degree, you may wish to consider the newly revised Community Leadership degree offered through MSU-Northern http://www.msun.edu. This broad-based program allows students to focus on the area of community leadership that best fits their interest and career. The program combines social science, communication and business skills and concepts in addressing leadership related development.

The Community Leadership degree is primarily a campus-based program, but an increasing number of courses are offered online, and self-motivated students will find instructors supportive in helping students complete requirements of most campus-based courses from a distance. Although doing so will require an extra measure of self-discipline from the student, we’re finding it is now possible for students to complete a Community Leadership degree with a Business minor from a distance.

Established professionals with community-oriented life experience might also be eligible to receive college credit for on-the-job learning, thereby expediting the process of earning a college degree.

For more information, contact Dr. Katherine Williams, MSU-Northern Associate Professor of Community Leadership: 406-265-3522 and [email protected].
