Montana nonprofit group, Rural Employment Opportunities, helps ag workers land life-changing jobs

Fifty-one year-old Doug Paige started work last week as a line cook in a popular Great Falls restaurant, which could help him fulfill his dream of becoming a top chef. Paige worked on his stepfather’s ranch near Conrad growing up and worked a season in a Billings sugar beet factory. He also has worked as a short order cook. He’s always dreamed of entering the culinary field and being a chef.

He was aided in getting the job by Rural Employment Opportunities http://www.reomontana.org/ , a Montana non-profit that helps underemployed agricultural workers change their lives.
