UM provost to discuss student preparation at City Club on July 15

The challenges and opportunities that go with preparing students for global society and the need for academic innovation will be up for discussion June 15 at City Club Missoula.

Royce Engstrom, University of Montana provost and vice president for academic affairs, will be the featured speaker. He also will discuss balancing academic innovation with fiscal responsibility.

The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Downtown at the Park.

City Club Missoula forums are open to everyone, but reservations are required.

Reservations must be made by noon Thursday by visiting http://www.cityclubmissoula.org, sending an e-mail to [email protected] or calling 406-541-CITY.

Those signing up are asked to indicate if they want lunch at $11 for members or $16 for nonmembers, or the no-lunch option of forum only for $5.
